Cherry Daphine (Coston) Williams

Mrs. Cherry Coston Williams, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt
and friend, transitioned peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
Cherry was born September 10, 1957 to Joe Coston and Geraldine Crenshaw
(deceased). She attended school here in Lake Placid, graduating from Lake
Placid High School in 1975. As she travelled through life experiences,
Cherry worked as a cook for over 30 years at the Family Truck Stop here
in Lake Placid. She also worked as a bookkeeper for many years for the
man she ended up marrying in December 2005, Ortland William Sr.
Cherry was preceded in death by James and Geraldine Crenshaw, brother
Ulysses Crenshaw, sisters Arnetia Crenshaw and Judy Robinson, and sister
n law, Sharon Crenshaw.
As we remember those cherishing moments with Cherry, lets also remember
God does everything for the best. There comes a time for weeping and
mourning but at the end of the mourning are memories to be cherished.
She leaves to cherish those unforgettable memories her daughter Ciara
Coston (Lake Placid), Hope Williams (Sebring), Felicia Williams ( Lake
Placid), Shawanna Duncan (Sebring), Ortland and Tasha Williams (Cross
City), Issac and Malaka Williams (Lousianna), Teresal Ruiz (Lake City),
Wilma Matthews (Lake City), Rodrick McKeithen (Lake Placid), Ted
and Dana McKeithen (Cross City), Thomas and Kutanya McKeithen
(Lake Placid), James Jefferson (Lake Placid), grandchildren: Demetria
and Demetrius Walker (Lake Placid), brothers: Milton (Kathy) Crenshaw
(Lake Placid), Michael Crenshaw (Sebring), Dennis (Gwen) Crenshaw
(Lake Placid), Lamar (Debra) Crenshaw (Port Charlotte), Reggie (Sandra)
Deveaux (Detroit), John (Consuelo) Cutler (Gainesville), sisters: Barbara
Hill (Ohio), Josetta Coleman (Jacksonville), Josie Coston (Lake Placid),
Dixie Rivers (Wauchula), Emma Locket (Lake Placid), Tonya (Bobbie)
Wyche (Lake Placid) and a host of nieces and nephews, God children:
