Damesa Laquon Reed, a loving and passionate soul, passed away on April 17, 2023, in her hometown of Sebring, Florida. Born on December 27, 1982, to Sharon Lynn and Stewart Reed, Damesa was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her friendly and warm demeanor. 

Damesa was a dedicated child care worker, devoting her life to the wellbeing and development of young children. Her passion for nurturing and guiding the next generation was evident in her daily interactions with both the children she cared for and their families. Her ability to connect with people and make them feel at ease was a gift that made her an exceptional caregiver and a cherished member of the Sebring community.

Damesa is survived by her loving family, including her mother, Sharon Lynn; her father, Stewart Reed; her sisters, Rashael Sherrill, Shayla Reed, and Zamiya Reed; and her brothers, Chase Reed and Caleb Reed. She is preceded in death by her child, Taraji Laquon Reed, whose memory she carried with her every day.

Throughout her life, Damesa was known for her loving nature and friendly disposition. She had a way of making everyone around her feel welcome and at ease, whether they were family, friends, or strangers. Her warmth and kindness were contagious, and she left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
