Mr. Delbert Morris White, of Indiantown, Florida, was born on May 26, 1946, in Avon Park, Florida, to Essie M. Boon and Delbert M. Sims. He passed away on January 24, 2026, in Stuart, Florida.
Delbert proudly served his country, entering the United States Army on October 27, 1965, at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. After completing his military service, he returned home to Avon Park in 1967, where he worked in the citrus industry for over 20 years, dedicating himself to hard work and providing for his family.
Delbert was united in marriage to Jessie Mae White, his loving wife of over 35 years, who preceded him in death. Their marriage was one of love, devotion, and family.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—sitting on the patio, having cookouts with family, and listening to music. These moments brought him joy and created lasting memories for those who shared time with him.
Delbert leaves to cherish his memory his children: Thelma Santiago (Thomas), Jessica Peoples (Gerald), Timothy Richardson (Launique), Eddie Wessels, Carletta Jones (Patrick), Darnell Jones (Chante’), and Nakeem Jones (Colleen); along with a host of great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
Mr. White will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. His life touched many, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of family and friends.
Final arrangements have been entrusted to the family and will take place in Avon Park, Florida, at Lakeside Historical Cemetery. The family kindly asks that you keep them in your prayers during this difficult time.
