Dorothy Ialeen (Rhone) Joyce

Dorothy “Dot” Ialeen Rhone Joyce, a devoted woman of faith, entered eternal rest surrounded by loved ones on June 1, 2025. Born to Abe and Ellen Rhone, Dot lived a life of love, service, and unwavering commitment to Christ. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose gentle strength and kind spirit touched many.

She grew up in the Church of God by Faith in Winter Haven, FL, served faithfully at Greater Works Ministries under Bishop Joe and Pastor Debra Halman, and in 2025 became a member of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL under the leadership of Pastor HB Charles, Jr.

Dot is survived by Willie Joyce; five children: Kevin Turner (Pamela), Sonja Ruckstuhl, Clifford Staton Jr., Cassandra General (Jessie), and Stanley Staton; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
Her legacy of faith, love, and compassion lives on in all who knew her.
