Gloria was the cherished daughter of the late Joe Jackson and Viceola Scriven and was fortunate to have a strong and supportive relationship with her godmother, Louvenia Butler. Her deep sense of family and her bonds with her four siblings were at the center of her life, providing her joy and motivation that she carried throughout her journey.
From a young age, Gloria developed a love for reading that only grew stronger as she matured. Her vast collection of books, ranging from classics to contemporary works, was her pride and joy. Her affinity for literature often led to enriching conversations, and she shared her favorite books and authors with friends and family, spreading her appreciation for the written word.
