James Lattimore Jr. was a shining example of a life well lived. Known as "Jimmy" or "Jim" to his friends and loved ones, he was born on October 24, 1943 in Hillsborough County, Florida, and left us on May 6, 2023 in Baltimore, Maryland. Throughout his 79 years, Jimmy exuded a genuine warmth and selflessness that touched the lives of all who knew him. A devoted father to his daughters, Tiffany and Laini Lattimore, Jimmy's loving nature extended far beyond his immediate family, leaving a legacy of love and kindness that will be remembered and cherished by all.
To know Jimmy was to know that he placed strong value on his close relationships. He cherished his roles as Father, Brother, Son, Grandson, Nephews, Uncles, Cousin, and Friend. But to truly know Jimmy was to know that his daughters were his world, and the single most important aspect of his life. He was willing to make any sacrifice for their happiness. Throughout their lives, he remained a beacon of inspiration and motivation to be the best they can be and to pursue their dreams.
Jimmy was blessed with a full and enjoyable life. He loved playing golf with his buddies, going to live Buffalo Bills games with life-long friends, hanging out with his coworkers after day's end, and traveling to Chicago, Connecticut, and many states to spend time with his family he acquired no by blood, but by heart.
So, as we celebrate the life of James Lattimore, let us remember his warm smile, his laugh, his steadfast devotion, loyalty, consistency, and honest. Let us honor his legacy by letting these virtues live on through each of us.
James Lattimore, Jr is survived by his daughters Tiffany and Laini Lattimore, and his brother Terry Lattimore.
James Lattimore, Jr., may you rest in peace, a life well-lived; a legacy of loved established.
