LEWIS CHARLES STRYKER, a resident of Sebring, Florida, passed away on March 27, 2026 at the age of 89 years.
He was born on January 14, 1937, in San Diego, California to Benjamin and Stella Stryker. As a young boy, he and his family moved to South Florida, and he remained a resident of South Florida for 80+ years.

During his years at sea, he sailed around the world multiple times. He had many stories to tell his family. One of their favorites is about when he tried to bring a horse (still attached to its buggy) aboard a USCG Cutter while on Liberty in Bermuda. Additionally, he was an accomplished golfer. Over 20 years ago, he moved to a beautiful golf course community in Sebring, Florida, where he lived with his wife, Marilyn Stryker, and made many good friends.
