Tracey Denise Moses, a beacon of love and kindness, completed her earthly journey on February 26, 2024. Born in Sebring on October 15, 1964, Tracey's life was a testament to the power of unwavering positivity and the strength of familial bonds. She departed from us in Lake Wales, leaving behind a legacy of warmth that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Tracey's early years in Sebring laid the foundation for a life characterized by devotion and passion. As a high school graduate, she embraced the role of a grandmother/homemaker, a vocation that allowed her to weave the fabric of her family with threads of love and care. Her home was not just a dwelling but a sanctuary where the hearts of her family members were nurtured.
Blessed with a loving family, Tracey was the cherished daughter of the late Essie and Herman Moses Sr. Although she joins her parents and siblings Lillie Moses, Ruben Crumity, and Herman Moses Jr. in eternal rest, her spirit is carried on through her beloved children, Frank Hodo (Andejoua), Shacara Hodo, Javon Moses, and Javona Moore (Freddie), who reflect her loving nature. Her sisters Veronica, Velma, and Elsa Moses, brother Earnest Crumity (Evangeline), and Willie Crumity will continue to honor her memory in their lives, and her ten grandchildren will grow up imbued with the stories of her love and passion.
Tracey's life was a living example that the essence of our existence lies in the relationships we foster. Her love for her family was paralleled only by her dedication to her faith and community. She found solace and strength in her church, where she shared her light with all those around her. Her friends were an extension of her family, and she cherished them with the same intensity.
In every interaction, Tracey exuded a loving and kind spirit. To describe her as passionate would be an understatement, for her enthusiasm for life was contagious. She had a unique ability to uplift and motivate, to turn ordinary moments into cherished memories, and to face life's challenges, including her battle with cancer, with grace and courage.
Tracey's love for her grandkids was a force unto itself, a boundless energy that fueled her every day. She reveled in their achievements, comforted them in their sorrows, and celebrated with them in their joys. Her legacy is one of unconditional love—a love that does not end with her passing but continues to echo in the laughter and dreams of her grandchildren.
As we honor the life of Tracey Denise Moses, let us carry her torch of love forward. Let her life remind us to cherish our loved ones, to face each day with kindness, and to live with a passion that lights up the world around us. Tracey's journey on earth may have concluded, but her spirit remains a guiding star for us all. Let us celebrate Tracey, for she showed us that the richest life is one spent in the service of others, and that a heart full of love is the most powerful legacy one can leave behind.
