Victoria "Vicky" Nelson, a beacon of love and joy, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 27, 2024, in Sebring, Florida, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 26, 1955, in Avon Park, Florida, Vicky's infectious laughter and boundless kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Vicky's early years were spent in the warm embrace of Avon Park, where she attended Hopewell Elementary and Avon Park High School. Her education laid the foundation for a life characterized by compassion and dedication to others. She later moved to Ohio. Vicky's career as a companion allowed her to touch the lives of many, providing comfort and care to those in need. Her work wasn't just a job; it was a reflection of her innate desire to connect with and support her community. Her heart was always her family's stronghold. Vicky's legacy continues through her beloved son Kevin Hall, her cherished grandchildren Jessica Rowe, Joshuwa Rowe, Khalil Fuller, Tonia Fuller, and Korea Hall, and her treasured great-grandchildren Khalil Fuller Jr., Tiarra Watt, Cedric Cox 3rd, Noah Bent-Fuller, Joel Bent, Amir Fuller, and Jerzi Hill. Vicky was the sister who brought laughter and wisdom to her siblings, Alvin Hinson and Jason Nelson, and she held close the memories of her late siblings, Ruthlan (Charles) Nelson and Lena Mae Williams, as well as her late niece Ruby Hinson. Her nieces and nephews, Alfred(Kenny)Hinson, Ruthann Hinson, Rosalind Hinson Davis Sherita Hinson, Marla Hinson, Shaytavia (Snook) Hinson, Courtney Hinson, Alvin (Stephan) Hinson, Shannon Hinson Daris Hinson, Mercedes Hinson and Jerome Hinson (deceased) will fondly remember her playful spirit and loving guidance. Vicky's interests were a mirror to her vibrant personality. She found joy in dancing, an expression of her free spirit and zest for life. She was an avid reader, always keen to dive into a new adventure or mystery with the turn of a page. Music was a constant companion, providing the soundtrack to her life's most memorable moments and everyday pleasures. Described by those who knew her as loving, funny, and interesting, Vicky was a woman whose presence could light up a room. Her humor was a gift that she shared generously, ensuring that laughter was a staple in the lives of her family and friends. Vicky was an interesting soul, whose stories and insights were as captivating as they were enriching. In the hearts of those who loved her, Vicky's spirit lives on. Her lessons of love, the importance of family, and the joy of living each day to the fullest are her enduring legacy. As we bid farewell to Victoria Nelson, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the countless ways she made our world a better place.
